Why I'm Running
South Carolinians are tired of politics as usual. We want roads we can drive on, hospitals we can get to, and leaders who tell the truth and are there for everyday people. We want fiscal responsibility, safe communities, and a government that works for the people, not the extremes.
I am running to:
• Balance the budget and restore fiscal discipline
• Fix rural infrastructure and expand broadband and clean water resources
• Strengthen healthcare options for underserved counties
• Support veterans and reform the VA
• Bring people together across party lines to get things done
I genuinely believe in putting our country first, and I'm more than willing to collaborate with anyone, whether Democrat, Republican, or Independent, who genuinely wants to tackle the fundamental issues we face together.

I was born into a family that believes in hard work and country over self. My father served 22 years in the Air Force, earning his GED while raising a family. My mother did not finish the eighth grade, but raised me with wisdom that cannot be taught in a classroom. They built their life through grit and faith and passed those values on to me.
After my time in the military, I enjoyed a fulfilling 23-year career as a bankruptcy paralegal before embarking on my journey to law school, after which I proudly became a bankruptcy attorney.
Throughout my career, I've been dedicated to helping small businesses and families find their way back when life threw them challenges. I've witnessed firsthand how misguided policies and broken systems can impact real lives. My passion lies in problem-solving, and I’ve always focused on making things better rather than contributing to the challenges we face.
I'm Roger Pruitt, running for Congress in South Carolina's 2nd District, because Washington has lost touch with the people it is supposed to serve. I am not a career politician. I am a United States Air Force Intelligence Veteran, a Bankruptcy Attorney, and a proud son of working-class parents who taught me the value of service, sacrifice, and personal responsibility.
