Meet Roger

A Life Built on Service, Grit, and Responsibility

Roger Pruitt is running for Congress in South Carolina’s 2nd District to bring practical leadership, accountability, and people first service back to Washington.

Roger Pruitt

My name is Roger Pruitt, and I’m running for Congress in South Carolina’s 2nd District. Washington no longer listens to the people it’s supposed to serve, and it’s time for leadership that delivers real results.

As a United States Air Force Intelligence Veteran, a bankruptcy attorney, and the proud son of working-class parents who taught me the importance of service, sacrifice, and personal responsibility, I understand real life, not just politics.

Growing up in a family that values hard work and country first, I learned from my father, who served 22 years in the Air Force and earned his GED while raising a family. My mother, whose wisdom went far beyond the classroom. Their grit and faith shaped who I am today.

“Service isn’t a title. It’s a responsibility you carry every single day.”

After serving in the military, a 23-year career as a bankruptcy paralegal led me to law school and, ultimately, to becoming a bankruptcy attorney.

Throughout my career, helping small businesses and families get back on their feet has been a driving force. Firsthand, I’ve seen how bad policies and broken systems can hurt real people.

Solving problems and making things better, rather than adding to the challenges we face has always been my focus.

What Roger Stands For

Public office is about serving others, not self-promotion. Families in South Carolina deserve honest, down-to-earth leadership ready to get to work.

Women’s rights are fundamental. Every woman deserves dignity, respect, safety, and the freedom to make personal decisions about her life and health care.

This campaign is about building a future that works for the people, NOT the political class.
